DALLAS BURSTON POLO CLUB SCOOPS TOP WEDDING VENUE ACCOLADE AT THIS YEAR’S MIDLANDS ASIAN WEDDING AWARDS
The Dallas Burston Polo Club has been named the region’s top wedding venue in a prestigious awards ceremony held in Birmingham at the weekend.
The Southam-based supreme destination venue scooped the Best Purpose Built Wedding Venue accolade at this year’s impressive Midlands Asian Wedding Awards.
Held at The Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham’s Resort World, the awards gala saw some of the industry’s leading experts reveal the very best suppliers this buoyant industry has to offer, with categories covering all the key aspects of Asian weddings.
With 19 difference categories, the Midlands Asian Wedding Awards celebrated everything from Best Wedding Transport Provider to the Best Cinematography Company.
And the Dallas Burston Polo Club, which earlier in the year also scooped the Venue of the Year 2016 accolade at the annual Asian Business Awards, beat off stiff competition from ……… and ……. to be crowned the winner.
General Manager of the Dallas Burston Polo Club, Major Richard Carney MBE, said: “Winning Best Purpose Built Wedding Venue of the Year means the world to us. Not only was the shortlist decided by leading industry experts, the final decision was made by the public who have first-hand knowledge and experience of the venue itself. There is no greater accolade than that.
“IXL Events at the Dallas Burston Polo Club prides itself on its ability to create each wedding to the highest standard, set within the impressive grounds of this unique and breath-taking location. We understand that a wedding is one of the most important days in a couple’s lives and we strive to ensure that every ceremony is special and as lavish or as intimate as desired.
“We are a new venue to the wedding industry and to win this prestigious award is a great honour and it really recognises our commitment to supporting the industry, taking it to new levels of excellence.”
Every year, the Midlands Asian Wedding Awards are held to recognise and showcase best practise across the regions wedding industry and to celebrate the businesses making a difference to the market.
It is the first awards ceremony of its kind, designed to celebrate the region’s favourite Asian wedding companies, as voted for by its customers.
The region is home to some of the leading suppliers working within the Asian wedding industry – a market generating over £300 million a year in the UK alone.
