The Millstone Hare, Look No Further For Your Child Friendly Pub
This child friendly pub in Southam is nestled in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, in the magnificent grounds of the Dallas Burston Polo Club. The Millstone Hare is an Olde English-style country pub and restaurant, with warm wooden paneling, exposed brick, tartan furnishings and the comfiest of seats. The Millstone Hare is the perfect venue for all the family, whether for lunch during the school holidays, an early weeknight dinner, a Saturday treat or the obligatory weekly Sunday roast.
A Warm Welcome Awaits You, And Your Children
Always open and welcome to non-members, as well as friends of the Club, a visit to the child friendly pub and restaurant is a great way to have a taste of the polo grounds and get a feel for the Club if you, or your children, have not attended before. Driving through the venue is an experience in itself, with 600 acres of greenery and fields greeting you before you’ve even stepped foot inside the restaurant. Once inside impressive arched windows let the sunshine pour in, while letting you, and your little ones, keep an eye of the stunning grounds while enjoying that reinvented pub classic or refreshing real ale.
Child Friendly Pub Menu
Open from 12 pm every single day of the week, lunch is available on all seven days, with dinner from 6 pm during the week and from 5 pm on Saturdays. For lunch you can keep it light with a range of salads and wraps; stick to the classics with dishes like fish & chips, sausage & mash and a house beef burger; or indulge in something a little more exotic with the likes of pan-fried sea bass and pulled pork burger. In the evening there’s even more to chose from, with great sharing appetisers and platters for all tastes and preferences, and a delicious, varied Main Menu with lots of fresh meat, fish and plenty of veggie options too.
For the youngsters the solid Kids Menu will keep even the fussiest of eaters happy, enabling a stress-free trip out for all of the family!
Sunday lunch, of course, involves a selection of delicious meat and veggie roast dinners, served with all the trimmings and plenty of homemade gravy. A selection of favourites from the Main Menu accompanies the roasts, as does the Kids Menu, so those perhaps a little roast-averse can have a welcome Sunday break.
And if all that hasn’t got you salivating at the thought, they also have an irresistible Dessert Menu to provide the perfect finish for your family lunch or dinner. Quintessential British puds face a delectably diverse cheese board in a war of the tastebuds – will you go sweet or savoury?! – while classic ice cream flavours with naughty but (seriously) nice toppings will keep the kids firmly at the table.
