Proud Finalists at the Coventry Business Excellence Awards 2019

Aiming to celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, the Coventry Business Excellence Awards 2019 were held in September at the Ricoh Arena. Here at Dallas Burston Polo Club we were proudly named as finalists for the Retail and Hospitality Business of the Year Award, an area in which we continue to grow, develop and improve year after year.

Award Categories

Covering a whopping fourteen categories, the awards included Business Entrepreneur of the Year, Not for Profit Organisation, Excellence in Innovation, and Sustainability. Designed to celebrate businesses from across a range of sectors, the full list of finalists celebrated the diversity and passion found within this county and provided inspiration and encouragement to all of the area’s budding entrepreneurs.

We were thrilled to be named as finalists in the Retail and Hospitality Business of the Year Award category, which covered online, boutique and high-street retailers and hospitality businesses with a reputation for retail and hospitality excellence. On being named finalists the management team declared, “We are so proud of our hard-working team at Dallas Burston Polo Club who give 100% to everything they do.”

Southam Businesses Shine Bright

Being located within the bounds of a small market town with a population of approximately 7,000 residents, we were very pleased to see some of our neighbouring businesses in Southam recognised, too, for their contribution to the economy. Southam-based health and wellbeing specialists Healthy Performance; virtual reality developer Reality in Virtual Reality; and tier 1 automotive supplier Auto Fasteners were all named as finalists, within the SME Business of the Year; New Business of the Year and Excellence in Innovation; and Leadership Team of the Year categories respectively.

From our polo tournaments to our Easter celebrations to our themed Christmas parties, Dallas Burston Polo Club welcomes the public all year round, with memorable and unparalleled experiences.

The Future of Hospitality at Dallas Burston Polo Club

Coming soon, as part of our £122 million investment, is the boutique Polo Hotel. Overlooking the polo grounds and rolling countryside, it will provide luxurious rooms for those visiting the club and those wanting to discover the local area.
